The PAROLE Spanish lexicon follows standard PAROLE architecture which includes morphological and syntactic layers. It includes the most frequent words found in a 1 million word corpus, coded according to the PAROLE specifications.
The lexicon contains about 22,000 morphological units, of which 12,209 are common nouns, 3,367 verbs, 4,996 adjectives. Closed classed categories are fully covered.
The information associated with each morphological unit concerns part-of-speech and subtype, inflection paradigm (with morphosyntactic information for the endings organised in about 132 models), possible stems in relation with the relevant endings, linking with syntactic layer. In the syntactic layer, information regarding subcategorisation for verbs and insertion context for nouns is encoded following the PAROLE model.

Le lexique PAROLE espagnol suit le standard d'architecture PAROLE qui comprend des indications syntaxiques et morphologiques. Il est composé des mots les plus fréquents extraits d'un corpus d'un million de mots, codés selon les spécifications PAROLE.
Le lexique contient environ 22 000 unités morphologiques, dont 12 209 noms communs, 3 367 verbes, 4 996 adjectifs. Il couvre l'intégralité des catégories classées fermées.
L'information accompagnant chaque unité morphologique comprend : partie-du-discours et sous-type, paradigme de flexion (ainsi que l'information morphosyntaxique organisée en 132 modèles environ pour les flexions), radicaux possibles relatifs aux flexions, lien avec l'information syntaxique. Pour la partie syntaxique, l'information concernant la sous-catégorisation des verbes et le contexte d'insertion des noms est codée d'après le modèle PAROLE.
