The corpus is available in Kielipankki - the Language Bank of Finland (https://korp.csc.fi), see there among the Finnish corpora " Suomenoppijoiden kieltä (suomi toisena tai vieraana kielenä)". After gaining access rights via https://lbr.csc.fi/ you can find the corpus in Korp (https://korp.csc.fi) by signing in with your HAKA- or eduGAIN credentials (choose "Log in" in the cogwheel menu in the upper right corner of Korp) and using then the direct link http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2015050504
The Advanced Finnish Learners’ Corpus (in Finnish Edistyneiden suomenoppijoiden korpus) consists mainly of texts written by non-native MA students of Finnish language. At the end of 2009 it consisted of the following:
- digitalized exam essays,
- digitalized theses,
- other academic writings digitalized.
The subcorpus containing digitalized exam essays has been made available at http://korp.csc.fi/.
The purpose of the resource use must be outlined in a research plan.
Distribution of copies is not allowed.
If the resource is used as material for a scientific publication, the copyright holder is to be informed.
A derived work of the resource may be redeposited with the CLARIN Service. The conditions for redepositing will be agreed separately.
Important: due to the nature of the material, the resource should be handled with care in order to respect the privacy of the personal data. If samples of the data are published, they must be anonymized according to best practices.
